Please help. srt10 questions

1962 was a time to be immortalized in drag racing. On that pix of the 62' Melrose Savoy, I would give serious money for a set of those 7" wide, white wall, cheater slicks!!!

Today the "so-called" experts and writers will tell you that the 1964 Pontiac GTO was the first "muscle car".

NOT SO!! I recall that back in the day of my drag racing experiences, when a 62' or 63' Plymouth or Dodge MAX WEDGE showed up, everyone else that day was running for second place!!

These pix are of me in my 62' Savoy putting an end to a 66' or 67' Chebby 454 SS El Camino. Eagle Field California 1/8 mile. Once you have it, you never loose it. Kind of like riding a bike!!

And you are wearing a helmet! Lol

I'm definitely a MOPAR fan. Grew up with them! Great kill - congrats!

Hello everyone!

I’m new here !
I’m hoping I can find some help from someone who has more experience on those trucks. Specifically the mechanical side as I’m not a mechanic my self.
I am currently negotiating a price on a 2004 srt10 vin number
3D7HA16H04G154900
which is for sale in Poland (that’s where I’m from) The truck was shipped from USA with a mechanical damage. I have found the original auction (photos) and from what I can see the transmission was off the truck completely.. The new owner in Poland is a second owner since the truck was shipped from USA.
The truck is now fixed and driving. I thought some of you that are familiar with those trucks could tell me what should I be aware of before buying. Could the truck be fixed with a different transmission from a standard ram 1500 truck?? I’m sorry I’m not good with mechanics. Also what you guys can tell about this truck just looking at the photos from the auction? I will attach pictures. I have photos sent by current owner (those are the last 3 )
and pictures from the auction. I would love to buy this truck but I’m afraid it will cost me more if the transmission wasn’t fixed properly and it will brake down on me…
I’d appreciate any help.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards
Tom
Welcome to the Red Button Club all the way from the Rockies, I agree with Ronnie budget some dough for repairs and X2 builders out of Granite, IL are the largest Viper Ram Salvage Yard in the mid west, you should be able to get all the parts you need for your 10. Also ebay is a great source for parts. Anything else let us know to point you in the right direction.
