Thanks for sharing. Looks great! That picture with all the aluminum shavings is especially cool.

Not bad. Looks like someone's been watching my intake porting. Even cut it open like mine. Now send it to me and let me take it 400hp further :)

How do you put it back together? I would assume welding but I'd be scared to cut into it like that.

Nope, mine are Tig Welded. Then I smooth the weld so its not noticeable ;-)
Then powdercoat or dip to final finish :burnout:

Plasma to open it up, carbide bits and days of grinding ;)

JMB did mine. Not sure if they cut it open or just did the area by the opening. Once I get mine on will try and get back to the dyno so I can see what the V1R UDP added along with the intake mani.

He's Rick Mack from Houston, text him for a quote. # 832-349-2946.

I checked with jmb first about a full port & polish and he said he only gasket matches the runners from what I understand. I could be wrong. I should see a good hp # out of this manifold. we'll see.

Yep he gasket matches the runners. In his opinion that's about as much as is worth it on our intake manifold. Personally I don't think you're going to see huge numbers, just numbers akin to adding a UDP or a larger TB.

Anyone ever thought if building a bigger/taller manifold with longer runners? Wont that be more torquey?
