I can't seem to find any thorough discussion about QA1 suspension upgrades in here so ill ask it, is anyone here running a full QA1 kit on there QC ? There are adjustable options and can be valved for certain specs. I've notice that since i did my lowering kit it has a bit of floaty feel when in certain highway situations. I also realize this is a long 20+ year old truck on a not so aerodynamic platform.

Btw i saw this pic on a different FB for high performance rams and wow does it look good in place of the stock rear wing.

I don’t run QA1s, I run Vikings double adjustables. Here’s my thread I did a few years back on my QC suspension.

Amazing, literally a wealth of info there. Took me nearly 45 minutes to read over your build.

I saw that same wing a few minutes ago. Been wanting to lose the tonneau cover and wing for mine in exchange for something much lighter. Would love to see that finished product.

Wonder if that wing offers the same down force as the factory wing, or do we care?

It’s no longer a 10 without the almighty factory wing ..
Only 1 option would be the Plymouth super bird and Daytona charger wing lol

or that mid height wing on the hemi truck that slips my mind right now

I saw that wing too on the high performance rams group. It actually led me to thinks that the majority in that group are not SRT-10 but some other variant trying to make decent power.

Where is the Viper group making more power to get ideas from :)

I personally dont care, but id see why some would. My issue would be storing the factory cover as I wouldnt get rid of it.
Never though about that before. Strap it to the rafters lol

I could use a 10 wing on my Dakota if anyone wants to give me one as an experimental wing for a mini me look alike hahaha .. of course it wool probably need to be cut to fit .. plus the side cladding and front nose and tail and hood modded

Did you end up ordering the Q1As?

IDK how useful I could be as I didnt install them on my truck my self, was done prior to me owning the truck. But I can tell you that with having QA1's in the back, and what I think is a 2 in drop, Caltrac's and im on 24's. It still has some "floatyness" on the highway. There has been a ton of work being done on the NY Throughway system and its super bumpy. Hitting some of them seems to take the truck to the side regardless of any input I give it, unlike my Rumble Bee. In normal every day driving it feels planted though. Its not loose or anything, so Im more inclined to think it has to do with the front or in the steering.

Wonder if the Dual adjustment shocks would help with this as you can adjust compression and rebound separately.

Also hoping that steering rack bushings I purchased along with the intermediate shaft bushing helps with the front end float some. Haven't done an install yet as im waiting for the Icon 250lbft torque wrench to go back in sale lol. The torque wrenches I have now only go to 175.

possibly

Possibly, they could be adjusted bad too. I havent tried any different adjustments. As far as steering my pump blew up a month an a half a go. Maybe that has been a problem a bit longer than I though it was.

Yes, the double adjustable Viking performance shocks along with the clamped front passenger leaf made ALL the difference (for 1/4 mile use). It eliminated punishing wheelhop and, of course, improved traction.
Rather firm compression and then softer rebound. (Stock ride height).
I leave at a dead idle then flash the convertor to 3200 or so, in my QC.
Top of (stock) front shocks, through the traps.
Still retains great highway manners.

I had a problem years ago ,, actually the truck became dangerous when driving and hitting irregular road conditions .. it would shift hard .. that was when I had the factory Perelli tires on it they were worn pretty evenly trust worn down for replacement time .. .. I bought new tires and had the front end alignment and it solved the problem .. All suspension parts were good ..
