QA1 Suspension

Wonder if the Dual adjustment shocks would help with this as you can adjust compression and rebound separately.

Also hoping that steering rack bushings I purchased along with the intermediate shaft bushing helps with the front end float some. Haven't done an install yet as im waiting for the Icon 250lbft torque wrench to go back in sale lol. The torque wrenches I have now only go to 175.
Our HB has 15% off coupon god through today maybe yours does too?

Yup, actually just stopped by there to pick up a 12 point socket set for the Big Brake Kit that came in Friday. Once Amazon delivers my Wilwood Brake 570 brake fluid, Ill do the install. If anyone is curious about this kit, ill post something up in a bit with some unboxing photos, then some follow up once its installed.

Is that painted Daytona win on your RC ?
Its is. Im unsure if its an aftermarket or not. But hitting speeds of 100mph the wing deflects downwards. I think its due to being hollow. To me that is a clear sign of some kind of downforce/ drag. I dont think they tested the taller wings as they did the srt ones. It sure makes it stand out though.

Also to my earlier post I did some digging and I think the reason for why I thought the truck was a little "floaty" may be due to bump steer. I think im gona buy a set of anti-bump steer end links. Having a lowered vehicle makes it more noticeable.

Makes me wonder the aerodynamic effects using the Daytona wing VS the 10’s factory wing ? With and without a tonneau cover and/or the removal of the tailgate.

As far as the o.e.m. wing goes, I've seen 2 design types, so far, underneath. They each had a different trough design. I'm 100% certain it was due to the tonneau cover, in this case.

They are both designed to work with the front splitter and the package was developed with visual cues from the Craftsman Truck Series; then later developed and confirmed through wind tunnel testing.

The O.E.M. wings reduce drag, reduce lift and cleanup the air near the tailgate. I.o.w. they were designed to work with the tailgate installed to deal with air up and over the cab, and tailgate turbulence.

As for the Daytona Wing vs the O.E.M. wing for functionality...The O.E.M. wing works with the SRT-10.

When i had my front splitter installed it 100% changed the way my truck handled, in a better way. And in many ways it exposed how the front of the 10 is held on with factory kids glue. So much that i had a shop install a custom bracket frame to hold the front clip in place because the splitter was so effective. I love this truck.

Do all ya'alls have the H F up in yer neck o the woods?
yea they are all over here in western NY.

Mine is held on by some thin metal brackets in the back, that flex easily with any pressure on the bumper. Idk how effective it is as it was there from the get go. Its like 3/4" textured plastic, I imagen is abs. It sticks out prety far. I wonder if i should put splitter rods on mine. 1 more project for winter
