This may have been discussed before but since I am new ya'll look over me..;)

The amp in the storage compartment under the middle front seat is hot as he!! (I cannot keep my hand on it for more than a few seconds) and the radio is not even on...is this normal or has this been a common problem?

I've got a couple of songs in my collection that are guaranteed to overheat the speaker coils (and they do!). The amp warms up, but not too hot to touch. Your system probably has a defect. Crank it 'till it blows up and get it replaced under warranty.:thrasher: :thrasher:

I would gut the factory system and get some JL Audio components,10" w3v2 sub and a 300/4 and you will see a huge difference in sound quality and fix the amp prob at the same time

Took it to my dealer...it was so hot you could not touch for more than a second w/o being burned...dealer has ordered replacement under warranty....:)
