I'm curious if RC srt-10's with the manual 6-speed's are suppose to have a steering wheel lock ?? I know that Ram's with the automatic transmission's have it, but do the manual trans ?? I recently had some warranty work done on the steering column & i'm not sure if i had it before i went in........ So, if you RC SRT-10 manual trans guys would chime in on if your's has it -- i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks....

There is a steering wheel lock. The auto allows you to remove the key and lock the wheel only when it's in 'park'. The manual has a little button we have to push so that the key doesn't accidentaly turn to the lock position when we're driving :driver:

The only car I've ever had without a wheel lock is my '62 Bug.:joyman: Anyway, isn't that one of the many things required by the vehicle code nowadays??? :dontknow:

If you remove the key and turn the wheel to the left about a full turn it should lock. I noticed this with both of my dodge trucks. It will not lock within a few inches of turning the wheel like GM or Ford. It requires a full turn for some reason. Hope this helps.
