Rear brake caliper question - what do you think?

It only gets more detailed as things and time go on. The the attitude of "Oh what he Hell' kicks in and the way you go. Only a credit limit and a wife to slow you down!!

The credit card is not so much of an issue today but at times the "War Department" of 62 years doesn't know how to take a joke...Oh Well..as they said in the old days, if you didn't want to take the ride you should have never signed up...
Hilarious!! It seems to be a common issue! I hear that from my hubby too :D:D:D

If she's not mechanical just make sure she knows it's all about safety and keeping things beautiful - it may work hahahaha!

Yah but you're crazy!! Hahahaha!!

Not really, you did excellent threads that took us all through the journey! We learned a lot - and then some!
I second that .. hahaha

Those can be fixed , Use the wife’s credit cards and get a divorce hahaha …

I always looked at life as a 1 lap race. I'm 80 now and rounding turn 4. Can't see the finish line yet and the tank is not empty.

Hopefully, when I cross the line of bricks I will be running wide open and be able to do a gargantuan burnout to finish things off in front a packed grand stand. :p

I need a set of rear brake calipers for my 2005 QC truck.
I found these on eBay which is an outstanding price for both Left & Right pair, but something just doesn’t seem right.
They look identical to my rear calipers, but look at the ink stamp on them. It says 370AA & 371AA
I ended up making an offer of $250 for the pair and it got accepted.

In the factory parts manual it shows
2004 thru 2006 rear calipers -
R 05139914AA
L 05139915AA

What do you guys think? Real or not real?

Here is the ad:
They sell rebuild kits for refurbishing your old ones. However if you found another set, WTG.

Front and rear are different. So are the left and right sides. Know that for a fact because just did that. You can't get it wrong. Took them off and ran them thru a hot tank to clean up and replaced the pistons and seals. Could have gotten by with the old pistons but did it anyway as long as I had them apart. Parts are readily available and not all that expensive. Re-painted them with the correct red color in a hi-temp rattle can paint. Replaced the rotors too with slotted and vented pieces. All looks like new now. Very nice appearing thru the stock wheels.
WTG!!!

Has anyone retrofitted a pair of newer calipers for our rears ? I like our brakes but id like to see a monoblock style like as on QC fronts. The firs Gen SRT-8 Cherokee's have a brembo style rear caliper, look great.
