Hey guys quick question about the SCT tuner. A buddy has one on his srt10, he doesn't need it now that he has a custom tune. If he returned his truck back to stock before removing the tuner, can I install it on my srt10? Or will it still be locked to his? They are both 04's

It all depends on how many vehicles its been used in. I believe it will be up to 3 different VIN's

Less then 3 vin's and you are good.
More then 3 Vin's in the unit and it disables. If its an X2 they are no longer supported to be "un-locked".
