finally got to run the truck! dont be too judgemental on me, it was my first time ever on a track. ran a [email protected](on street tires) had a blast though, met a lot of good guys. wish i could have been there on friday.

see i went alittle different i had a 2.02 60ft and i left like goin to walmart then leaned on it so i wouldnt spin so bad but best i did was 12.99

i see you're runnin' 4.88's, did you have to shift to 5th in the 1/4 ?

He shouldn't have to with stock tires, they're 31.5" tall. 115.2 MPH is possible at 6,000 RPM.

no i didnt shift into 5th. didnt bump the rev limiter either.

Uhhh Guys, I'm runnin 4:56's and Drag Radials (390x17) And a 150 shot of nitrous. I had to shift to fifth, or bang off the rev limiter for 100 feet of so.
12.22 @ 107 and 12.36 @ 110 spinning like crazy.

2nd pass I went to 200 shot, 2.03 60' spun like crazy. slowed down 1 1/2 tenths.

12.22 @ 107 and 12.36 @ 110 spinning like crazy.

Somethings not right, unless your rev limiter is set to 5500-5600 rpm. I have 4.56 gears with 390's and I never have to shift into 5th. My best trap speed is 111.31 MPH and I figure with 390-40-17 Drag radials @ 29.5 inches tall and not allowing anything for growth its possible to go 115.5 @ 6000 rpm. Maybe your window switch for the nitrous is set at 5500?

Maybe your window switch for the nitrous is set at 5500?

Window switch is at 5800, Rev Limiter is at 6000
