Just wanted to put a word of thanks out to Kevin and KC at underground racing.
I have a SRT Ram with a PTK twin system installed and have had problems with it for months now.
I called Kevin about it ,he said come over let us take a look at it.
I went over this morning, they took the time out from getting a car ready that had to go out monday morning to look at my truck and the problems.
they made 3 dyno pulls and some pressure checks.
Kc took the time to explain in every detail from idle to WOT what was going on,timing , fuel curve, equalization the whole works, even explained how the controller itself worked.
Then Kevin took the time from what he had to get done and explained in detail also, showing me parts, and which parts I would need, how much it would be, and how long it would take, and how it would affect things, and even asked how far I planned to go.

Overall they went way out of thier way to make sure I understood everything I needed to do, what it would cost, and how long they would need it(about 3 days)
Then they asked me to join them for lunch, with KC insisting on buying. We didnt talk work or money at lunch, but instead just joked around making fun of the help, that talks on a cell and sweeps at the same time!
And when I returned, would not take any money for the time they spent on my truck, to me this is first class.
so guys thanks a million for sorting out my problems, and call me when there is an opening,I promise it wont be driven or moved until then.

I honestly after having things to where I can see exactly with my eyes , every table of the tuning am really very upset. I could break things down step by step , but its too much.
I a week or so it will go to underground to be repaired. Which will take about 3-4 DAYS, not months. And it will be done correct and should not have to worry about it unless or till I get ready to go over the 1200 mark

Guys I must insist that you take the time on your next mod to give them a call, There work is so perfected its almost like talking with a formula 1 team, kevin also told me he was looking for a Ram to do a killer Twin turbo kit at a reduced rate, that would make tons of power. I looked at all thier cars and will post some pics later, but their work is unbelivable , epecially with the overkill they do to make sure the customer never has any problems.

Once again thanks underground for completing the year long saga of my trip, just call when you have the opening.
Thanks

Kevin also sold me my replacement motor for my SRT Ram. My e-mails to him and/or his brother were answered within a reasonable amount of time. The "new" motor is in the truck and as of yesterday the wiring was being completed. Dyno day will be friday as the facility is closed for vacation. I'll be sure to post the numbers of Kevins motor with the Paxton and upgraded pistons.

Thanks again Kevin for the motor!!

Well, I responded ot this once, but it's not here so I'll do it again...LOL!!!

Good news on finding someone to help you figure out what need to be done to get you completed. I want to see that thing run like it should!!!! That's gonna be badass...

Thanks

I would love to give them my truck for the TT, but I don't think their "reduced rate" would get the wife's approval!!

Basically it needs a days worth of tuning and a fuel upgrade, it will get the correct size fuel pump, and also fuel rails, and lines and injectors.

After it gets repaired I will go in much more detail on the fuel system, It will be easier with pics.

thanks guys for the response , today I was impressed and learned alot!

And T-man you are correct, and lets say I have embarrased myself like in the past for the last time.

Stink....when it all said and done what kind of rwhp will you be rolling around with....?

Actually not sure, we never really got to that, at this point I jsut want it correct where I dont have to worry about it, but will soon have a walboro 255 pump that I want need, you need it nowwhat?
Kevin did say it should fly, but i figure in the 800's, right now it pulls 650rwhp at 4000 and stops.

Stinker -

I'm happy for you and they sound like a good bunch, but after hearing your story (along with sooo many other horror stories) about builds gone bad, I'll save my final 'congrats' until your truck is running 100%!

I do hope it goes smooth for you though. Safe to say, you've been through enough sh!t by now. Time to get it done and have some fun!

They are top notch. So does this mean you gonna have to change your closing on the alley "David Weavers best work ever". From what I've heard from the whole mess I would avoid Pro Turbo AND ART like the plague...

UGR is one of the top tuners around at this point.

Hmmm.... I feel kind of obligated to Boomer since I've been talking to him a while about doing his monster supercharged setup, but I've lost a lot of money due to #%$ taxes and that reduced rate sounds mighty good. I'm gonna give them a shout and see what they think about using my truck as a demo, seeing as how I've already got like 20+K invested already

It may be worth giving them a call Azmal and ask for Kevin and jsut see, hell wont hurt ya know?

And Tom, I have done my fair share of bashing and sometimes enjoyed it, but I still commend ART for not charging me any labor, and David was right after all it was the right thing to do.;)

I jsut want this chapter closed.
My emotions have been up and down, and has made it an absolute nightmare to be around me, I have been a total ass to alot of poeple and for that I apologize.

But looking at the tune from top to bottom , I mean if it could be read, KC showed it to me and explained it in detail, he said it would take about a full day of tuning. And told me to stay out of the boost til it returns.

And bo you are correct lets hold off the beer till the final tally has been given and hopefully by the nats!

But now , I will have a meth system a couple guages, maybe injectors, stock rail s, fuel pump, hell some other odds and ends I will get rid of after she's polished up and done. I'm fixin to try the carbon interioir bits and may post pics to get some ideas , some pieces I dont like too much, and want opinions.

I called but didnt get anyone, left a message, I emailed him instead for now
I think I sounded drunk or retarded since I was so sleepy... been up for a long time now. This forum is in part to blame lol.
I'll still get goodies from boomer if they do sponsor me or do that reduced rate thing.
anyone know about what this reduced rate would translate to? I know reduced rate would mean probably 80 grand and 2 years for 1500HP if it were Hennessy But I dont think these guys are on the same page by any means, I'm just trying to get a jump on where I'll be standing here. Did that make sense? I'm bushed lol

Get some sleep bro!LOLO

I dont know on the figure at all, he just mentioned it in passing, but I said really? he said oh yeah I would love to do one!

But with what he had told me of the ones he has done it shouldnt take more than a few months as good as an assembly crew that they have, and as far as cost I'm just going to take a wild ass guess and say $30,000 or under ,but that depends also on how far you go and what you want too. Like a stroker motor and so on , and you may have to figure in the cost of the auto tranny, which they had one of the viper cars there with the auto in it. I'll see if I can get ahold of him and let him know you are interested, and maybe he can pm you some $ figures.

Yeah that'd be awesome. Thanks.
I'd really like to get it sponsored to some extent and get some active involvement, and do all the car shows and such. That would be rockin. We'll see, I'm pretty easy going though.

Great to hear Tony....they sound top notch:D I've seen the videos of the cars they've built and they:rock: If thats any indication you'll be burning some serious rubber in no time:burnout:

This is great news Tony, it sounds like this should finally take care of any problems you are having. I really look forward to checking out your truck at the Nats.

Bill.

Is that becuase its running out of fuel?? i doubt it. JH runs that same setup in his TT's. Although he has changed it as of late. The TT Viper at true had the same setup w/ 42lb injectors making 1000hp. the difference is the Vortech super fmu. i dont know bro, I think it would work just bump up the pressure if you want.
