Maybe @Kiwi SRT10 during the wait is making a song similar to the Rascal Flats song to go long with his final DIY vidYes! At least I like it!!
Now thats a plan ...getter done hahahaDang! I think I can feel a country music song coming on.
I'm sure I can write a song about that engine. Yeehaaa!
I might just goes down to the liquor store and gets me some ammo.
A 6 pack and shoot some varmints. C'mon Cletus, go on now, get in the truck
Better than ChrismasFinal parts crate has left Tampa FL Wahoo!!!!
Inside is
Go Fast Camshaft
Slow bleed lifters
7.600 hardened pushrods
Oil pump gear set
ARP Head studs
Lower end gasket set
Head Gaskets
Valve cover seals
TB O’ring
Clutch, pressure late, bearing, alignment tool
10 NGK spark plugs
Valve cover spacers
Timing chain
So the only original parts in my new engine is the crankshaft and......um

I will have to trust John. I measured them and and told him they were 7.600" and he said he will make sure they will send the right ones for the new set up, even if he does keep referring to them as 7.600" They will be checked before they go in too.Hey Bud;
If they are in fact sending you 7.600" hardened pushrods, that is very close to stock length.
What you need with the Strikers are Hollow, Hardened Pushrods, tapered at each end 7.400" long.
Hopefully you just made a typo.
Good to have someone with the knowlege to jump in for verification .Hey Bud;
If they are in fact sending you 7.600" hardened pushrods, that is very close to stock length and could work with the o.e.m. cylinder heads.

Have checked with John. They are 7.600" for my build. He hasn't used anything shorter before. Maybe because my heads are not shaved or thinner gaskets. My engine man will be double checking everything anyway. He is an absolute perfectionist.Good, because pushrods that long with your Strikers would cause a MAJOR valvetrain traffic jam.
Unless the low-bleeds are .200" shorter than the o.e.m. lifters; but I doubt it...
Got you lolJohn most likely knows what he's doing
We will have to trust the builder!! As long as he's aware of all the info all will be great! Just don't assume anyone knows what the other knows make sure you know that they know what you know! Get me?
That's all you can do (check everything). He may also being using small base circle cams which would require a longer pushrod (than 7.400)Have checked with John. They are 7.600" for my build. It will be good. When you have these two passionate and excited about the build, then you know you are in good hands. It is not just another motor to them.That's all you can do (check everything). He may also being using small base circle cams which would require a longer pushrod (than 7.400)
I hope it works out well for you.
