I'm at the point where my baby has to go. Due to a recent hip injury, I can no longer go through gears and enjoy my little girl. It is with a lot of regret that i have to do this but, I'm not a spring chicken anymore and leaving my girl parked until whenever or if ever my hip heals is something that I don't want to do and is not fair to my girl.
She is for sale. 2005, flame red, 58,000 kms (about 38,000 miles), she has a couple minor scratches - she didn't spend her entire life in the garage - it would've been a shame if that happened. She runs strong, all original EXCEPT the K & N intake and the Viper GTR slave cylinder set up. The original slave cylinder decided to die in the garage, i bought a replacement from Roe Racing a few years ago. no issues. I custom built a reservoir mounting bracket for it.
My girl was appraised at $66,000 Canadian on June, 2022. She's seen about another 1,500 km's since then. She get's started every week to keep her lubricated, is covered in the garage - my neighbors think I'm not all there but who cares - it is time. I'm not able to drive her anymore without incurring pain so i won't drive her. I will attach pictures here and if there is any interest I can send more. It's a Canadian truck and am looking for $55,000 Canadian. Make me an offer - I will not pay any export fees to send the truck to the US. I'm currently researching the cost to send it to the US so any information I get will be passed on to any prospective buyer. Thank you

Looks n great shape .. good luck

I've had Corvettes and numerous other vehicles. Nothing compares to this . I had a '68 RR that was FAST - but not RAW POWER like this. "68 Dart, 340-4 speed - quick - NOT like this. I love the power. My son won't drive it - it'll get away on him. I tell people it's like jumping on the back of an angry grizzly bear and trying to hold on!!! I managed to get a personalized plate here in Ontario - RAPD APE. I told the ministry it was for Rapid Ape........... but we know know what it was for! Wink wink!!!! That plate goes on the wall!!!

Well sorry to hear you have to part ways with your beautiful Red girl!! She looks very clean and like she's been well loved!

Wishing you good luck with your sale

And Your son is probably smart to realize she may spank him!

Good luck -

Nice collection you had or have

Nice truck. Sad you can't drive it. I had the same just before and quite awhile after double knee replacement. I know about the pain. It hurts seeing it in the garage knowing you can't do anything about it.

Very nice truck! That is $38,620 USD for any potential US buyers. I am sorry that you can't drive it anymore. Like you, I also own a very stoutly built 2008 Z06 Corvette (LS7 - 427CID) that makes 660BHP (572rwhp dyno). Even though the Corvette is undoubtedly quicker and more nimble, I absolutely understand what you mean about the SRT-10's brute strength and torque. It just feels totally different! My SRT-10 isn't stock either, and makes similar horsepower numbers to the Corvette but makes FAR more torque. I am still waiting for spring to dyno it and see the real numbers, but yeah, I agree with you on the brute strength and torque these trucks make. It just feels different.

I hope you can get your truck sold, and maybe you can find a quad cab automatic?

I've actually been looking at a 1938 Plymouth Pickup. P-38 I'm pretty sure. Bone stock, sitting in a barn. She won't sell. I call a couple times a year. The patina is beatiful and I would drive it as is. The clutches in those old trucks aren't as stiff and when my hip heals I think I can handle it. If not, 340, 727, sure grip and a highway cruiser!! Wink wink! But no alterations to the original driveline set up.

My grandson's (all 3 of them) told me a 4 door truck ISN't a RACE TRUCK like grandpa's!!! Daddy drive's a 4 door and it's just for work or getting groceries!! Grandpa has a RACE TRUCK!!! LOL! 3, 6 and 8 years old!! My granddaughter is 6 and she thinks it's the bestest looking truck in the world!!! They've all had a ride in it and love it!! Can you imagine - an SRT-10 Pickup with a car seat??!!!! LMAO!!!

Grandpa's do that!! And LOVE it!!
My grandpa had a red Savoy with a white top! Hahah! I thought it looked like the bat mobile. Would love to have it now. I liked the push button shift

Hey Ive had a car seat in mine more than once hahaha !

It's true that the quad cabs are a little slower than the single cabs (stock vs stock) but you can absolutely add a cam, throttle body and headers, and get another 100hp easily.
But... having owned both versions, I can attest to the fact that the 48RE automatic transmission is a bit weak for that engine. I had to have mine rebuilt twice in three years.

Yes Ronnie can tell you about those. They need the diesel upgrades
