Well I finally got on board with the Caltracs. Got em from Boomer today. I just cant take any more rental car minivans racing me and all I do is spin my tires!!!! LOL

Cant install till next weekend though. Parts seem very heavy duty which is what we need with 5k lbs worth of truck! LOL

I have read many of the back threads about installation, I have a vise for the press part.........hopefully it'll fit in it. My neighbor has just about every tool ever made so big wrench's etc.. wont be a problem.

If you have any tips bring em on and help a brother out.:)

Isnt it great when you get speed parts in the mail? Its like Christmas man!!! I love it!!

Hahahaha, you guys are funny. Unfortunatly our tracks last race weekend is the same week in Nov when I will be in Phoenix for the Nascar race so I wont be able to run the truck until Jan. But colder weather is better!!! Yes we have colder weather here on Maui. Winter highs are low 80's!!! LOL 60's at night or sometimes even 50's.

I was really planning on running this fall but with the addition of the catless mids and DC computor traction was completly gone with the 4.88 gears. I wish my neighbor was available today, I am excited to get them installed.

I will try to take pics of the install.

Patrick- if you do a DIY article, here are a few tips for ya:

    - Keep the camera close by. Within arms reach is optimal (of course). Front pocket is good too.
    - USE THE MACRO SETTING!!! It's the little 'tulip' setting on the dial of your camera.
    - USE A FLASH!!!
    - Take more pictures than you need. Digital photos don't cost anything and it's MUCH easier to delete unwanted photos than to re-shoot something.
    - Set the picture size on the camera to: 640 x 480. You're not doing Cosmo cover pics, so you don't need the 11 megapixel setting. Maximum picture size should be 1280 x 960. No one likes to scroll for days just to see one little bolt.
    - Take a little note pad and pen with ya under the truck. Notes REALLY help when it comes to writing the DIY article.
    - Do a "Tools Needed" picture. I usually do this AFTER the project, so I don't leave anything out. I have a pile of tools when everything is done, and just lay them out nicely and take a couple of pics before putting them back.
You can do the same thing with "Materials Needed" like, oil, tape, threadlocker, etc.

    Have fun with the install!
