Maybe some of you have wondered why I am the Trainman. No I didn't work for a railroad.....I collect old (and new) toy trains. I am having SRTBrad post a couple of pictures for me of just a few trains ( I have close to 2,000 individual pieces in the collection) to give you a small idea of my hobby.

I also love Pontiacs , my favorite all time car is the 1964 GTO. I am working on a very special 2000 SLP Firehawk. This car was originally owned by SLP. It was the 2000 LA Auto Show Car. It remained on the west coast for the SLP dealer rep to show dealers what a fully equipped Firehawk would include. I have owned the car since mid-2002, after the shutdown of the 2002 Firebirds and Camaro's were discontinued.

This one is receiving a full street/drag race treatment. It will still have a stereo and AC.....but little else. Full Darton wet sleeve LS1 stroker, 434 cubic inch, NA (of course), Harrop Hurricane Intake (8 individual TB's, made in Australia), 11.5 to 1 compression, Mast 295 LS1 heads, ported, cam 252-264 .650 lift, approx. 700 hp (flywheel) , 645 ft.lbs. Kooks headers. 6-speed manual (again, of course) , tubular K-member and A-arms, manual steering and brakes, Ford 9" aluminum rear, 4.56 gears, lexan rear window, target weight between 3200-3300 lbs. Hopefully ready for the Feb Test and Tunes along with the SRT-10.

Enjoy the photos. And thanks Brad!

I saw this at a local car meet in treasure island last weekend. It was in great shape.

The transmission shop down the street had a white Firehawk out for sale. Think the price was around $14-15,000. Diddent get Any other particulars on it.

The Firehawk was my dream car when I was 15 years old. Thanks for sharing, Jerry!
