Is it perfectly ok to coast in neutral lets say to a stop sigh or whatever or does the input side of the trans needs to be turning to pump fluid. Is coastin in neutral safe? thx guys

Not always legal in all fifty States...down hill costing is a NO NO here in California.
As long as those back wheels are moving she's getting oil moved around in the trans.

With a T56 it is not recommended to tow except with drive shaft disconnected.
Short coasts would be OK, for a few hundred feet.
