Uconnect and the RB1 radio

Lately this has been the topic of several threads, but I would like to know
if anyone has the RB1 radio and uses the factory UConnect.:dontknow:

I am thinking of upgrading to the RB1 from my RB4 so that I can get
all the cool features it offers with the ipod, however, I don't wish
to loose my UConnect.

Anyone please help!

Under "general features" it mentions about a work-around. I'm not sure what discussion forums they're talking about though since no links are provided. LOL

QUESTION: Does the RB1 have a frickin' clock?

I was wondering what the "work around" is myself.
I was hoping someone had some input before I buy it.
