Let me take you back to how this whole thing started....
Back in March we picked up the Jeep SRT8 being that the wife and I are expecting a baby soon and needed to get a family mobile. Well about a month ago we ended up having to drive somewhere seprately. It just so happened that we ended up at a light side by side and of course we were going on green. The light turns green and we both nail it, she of course jumps off the line with about a half car on me, which I expected, I just planned on walking past her after I had some good traction. Well that never happened, and ever since then she's been pretty happy to tell everyone how a pregnant chick in a SUV can beat my truck
So I did what any guy would do after slapp... I mean loosing to a pregnant chick, that's right I ordered a nittrous kit the next morning.
It took a while for me to gather all of the parts I needed, and get it tuned in but now it's done and it is an absolute rocket ship:rock: I strapped my 7 year old son in the 5 point harness over the weekend and took him for a little test run. I'm not sure if it was the g's, the excitement of being in dads fast truck or a combination of the two. Whatever it was, he just had the biggest smile on his face and could'nt wait to get home to tell mom how fast it gets to 100. She on the other hand was not so thrilled about the news :dontknow: Oh well, looks like I accomplished two things with this little project.
1. Won't loose to a pregnant chick in an SUV
2. Won't need to start looking for a minivan for a while being that it might be some time before there's even a chance of nocking her up again.
Now I call that a win win
