I was forced to sell my 05 reg cab SRT-10 last year before I got deployed to Iraq for the 3rd and final time. I am finally out of my commitment for the Marine Corps, and I am looking forward to living a normal life...whatever that is! But, I have a baby girl on the way. She is due anyday now. So I still need a toy, but a cheaper one. I am looking for a GSXR 750 or 1000, Yamaha R1, or a Ninja. I'm an expierenced rider, but never with my own bike. Im not looking to spend more than $3,500 bucks. I thought I would come ask my disfunctional family of SRT owners if anyone was ready to part with their motorcycle. I too have been on the Hunt recently for a Solid Sport Bike. I'll let you know if i come across any GroundBreaking Deals..........
 
Iv been checking eBay, cycle trader, and my local classifieds everyday. You can find a decent bike for under $3,500. It might be6-8 years old with 15k on it, but thats all I need for now.
 
We have one (GSXR 1000) but its a little more then you would like to spend.
 
i love street bikes but when i was youger i was pulling wheelies from every stop light on a 6 lane road in phoneix on my cbr 600f3. had the bike 2 year no trouble not a crash or close call. so one day i did the normal wheelie and road it beautifully, set the front tire down rode the bike to my garage and stepped away from it. sold it a week later. i fiugred i pushed my self to far and did not want to kill myself.

o how i want another street bike.
 
I'm looking to sell mine but, #1: I'm deployed till beginning July, #2: It's only an '07 R6, #3: I'm looking for more than $3500. Good luck in your search.

$6800 but that includes a XL Alpinestars Jersey jacket, L Alpinestars gloves, L icon vest with military ID pocket, brand new aluminum ramp, and canyon dancer. The bike has some aftermarket cosmetic accessories on it too and includes the stock items (windscreen, exhaust can, blinkers, rear fender, rear seat cowl)

If you are still looking. The wife is selling her 99 GSXR SRAD. Super clean with low miles around 12K I think and some extras (undertail, polished swing arm, extended polished sliders, smoked windscreen, chrome wave rotor on rear, and lowering kit) Bike runs GREAT and was just serviced (oil, filter, new brakes, new tires, and new fork seals). I have the original swing arm, and rotor which will go with the bike. I guarantee you will be hard pressed to find a CLEANER 99 than this one! Oh yea, You can have it for 3,500! She just decided to sell it today (room addition and garage addition) and I remembered seeing your post. I will get some pics posted if it ever stops raining here!
 
SRAD's haul butt they take mods very well too. Looks like a good deal for L Killer.
 
It IS a 600 but take my word (I ride a CBR 954RR) this is PLENTY of bike and is a good sized bike also. These are bigger than the newer 600s and many think they kinda look like the older "BUSA". We gave over 4K for this bike last summer BEFORE upgrades and service! Wen I sell I usually sell cheap to avoid a lot of "negotiation". GOOD BUY so spread the word!:rock:
