Keep it a secret!!!!!

Buy em and use them as a parts truck!:D

It is not great news for current owners, however it is good news for those of us who want in. I just hope that the prices stabilize for these trucks over the next year or 2 and they start to increase in value, as my 04 Lightning has.

outnumbered,

Who is the dealer, and how many does he have at that price?

Any black RC's? ;) :D Hmmmmmmm. :D Maybe mine needs a playmate.

I hope...

I had not delusions about how much the value of my truck would decrease. I purchased my truck as a risky investment. I believe that it takes money to make money. I think this is one of those cases. These trucks will be worth so much more in the future. Look at the 1993 Mustang Cobra (somewhat good example). What about the Shelby GT 500 (originals)? The lightnings are going up in value.

Vehicles are the worst investment you can make unless you are one of the lucky 69 People with a 69 ZL1 Camaro or something scarce like that. In the past 3 or 4 years I've watched the prices of 1987 Buick Grand Nationals and GNX's go up in value.

I Don't really care about the value, as I have to assume they will eventually go up. Although I didn't buy for an investment, it is a little depressing--especially for those that are trying to sell, that dealers are now selling these things waaaayyyyyyyy below what some of us owe!

You might get a deal today but one things for certain, when they're gone they are gone! These trucks are to enjoy today. If they go up or hold their value great, but I didn't by a museum piece waiting for the Jackson Barrett pay out.

I didn't buy mine for an investment. I bought it because I loved the way it looked and the way it ran. I wanted it when it was just a concept. I have one now even though I really should have spent my money more wisely I plan on keeping it and just enjoying it as long as I can. If it increases in value as I know it will someday it will only make it even more precious to me. I have owned Hemi cars, six packs, and many other exotic MOPARS but this truck gets more looks from more different types of people than any of the other vehicles I have owned. I plan on buying a 2008 Challenger when they come available as well, because I want it, not as an investment.
