I'm looking for the factory radio. I'm assuming all either had the 6 disk RBQ model or navi system. I'm looking for the 6 disk RBQ model if you have. Will you email me [email protected] or 8068935479. I'd really appreciate it.
Sorry to open this thread up again but my ps fitting by fan just crapped out. You sale this fitting or a much better option before goby through dealer?
It's the greatest. I've been a member since day one of purchase and never bothered checking in with several other issues. Should have came here years ago for advice.
Hell yeah it does. I've had some awful experiences with shops around town trying to play you for a fool saying it needs this and that part. I've caught one red handed turning a 1 hour job in to a 7 hour service ticket. Little did they know I would pay for diagnosis and turn the wrenches myself...
I wanna update you guys that chimed in with your wisdom. I ended up pulling the t-stat and replacing. Topped out fluids again then started the bleeding process again. It's a great day. Not gonna lie, I was puckering for a good while thinking about that head gasket. Kept thinking the worst...
Called around and a performance shop in town will do it for $40. Guess I'll try that. I'd like to swap to a 170, does truck need to be tuned for this. Everyone around town says no need.
This afternoon I'll put more time doing some cycles to flush out. I'll be calling around to find a good shopeho won't try to play me either. I'll update this thread this evening with changes.
I believe it is a huge air pocket. When I exchanged the thermostat I had less than a fourth of a cup leak of coolant. I'll do like the guys above mentioned and try a few cool and hot cycles to bleed it out over and over. I'll squeeze on that hose too. If that doesn't help I'll try replace with a...
Yeah I'll work on chasing scanner and gun over next few days. I'll probably try to flush completely before the rad shop. It doesn't smell hot. Smell some coolant but that's from bleeding.
So I started the truck up and cranked heater on. I loosened the nipple and vapor came out. About 4 minutes in I looked and saw 255. I continued the process for another good 3 or 4 minutes and the vapor kept with some coolant. It was never a steady stream. The hose isn't split, inspected that too.
Oil temp stays at 160ish. Never rises during the overheat. Belt diagram was given to me by dealer. It looks and fits good. I've thought the water pump maybe issues. Good chance I'll get it to a rad shop. The hose isn't split. Inspected it too.
I'll look into the temp gun and see where that leads. I did a new belt last fall and worked great. If rad plugged, any ideas or suggestions to flush it out. I'd like to try that next. Here in West Texas we've had at least 4 haboobs in 12 months. It blows pretty nasty out here.
