Old post but....
Dodge had to do a buy back on all of the Dakota R/t 360 that they produced due to
the lowered ride height. It changed the angles on the drive shaft,causing failures.
Mine was one of them. Don't remember the model year.
Pull the white cap
And yes, it is factory
It's hard to see because the pictures so grainy but there are only two wires, pink with a yellow stripe. I'm not sure if both wires have the yellow stripe, or just one.
Everything you listed shows going thru connector 219, which is under the dash by the parking brake pedal. Check that it is plugged in.
You will also find a hidden fuse down there. Mine was taped to the wiring harness. It's hidden under a white plastic cap. The wiring diagram refers to it as a...
Truck wouldn't crank.
I just got done flashing it on the bench, would not flash in the truck, so I don't need one after all.
So if it doesn't start in the morning, it's back to digging around in the wiring diagram.
