06 QC Lateral Play in Brake Pedal

So, while detailing the interior I bumped the brake pedal and noticed what I would consider abnormal lateral tolerances. The brakes function fine, but I am thinking there must be a way to true up that play. Now that I know it's there I can feel it when driving.

Anyone else come across this on a <30k unit?

Had that Haboob not rolled through town tonight I had intended to get under the dash and check it out.

Thanks Jeff, don't know why that didn't come back when I ran the search. Snooping around via Google search and found this link to the POS pedal thread .

Perhaps the one of the Mods would like to clean this info up into one thread.
