17" drag slick - will it ever happen ?

what's the chance you guys will ever make a 17" drag slick sized like the 390?

is it a numbers thang?
how many of us would have to commit to get this to happen?:dontknow:

dont think it will happen the #s would have to be too big and remember most people and i stress most people can run a 16 or a 15 inch rim so it does not apply to that big of a market i think..................grab a grinder and some beer and get on your calipers and make them fit a 16 inch wheel then you will have unlimited choices of wheel tire combos to run !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's not bad now that i'm not under the truck grinding anymore
but it sure sucked when i was working on it

ohh it def, was a pain in the azz, but it was well worth it


id have to pop off the wheels to get a good pic, ill do it tomarrow im not going to work ill have time to do it

found this, looks to be ~1/2" material removed - damn.

my next question is - is it safe to remove that much & not sacrifice the caliper breaking apart? :dontknow:

for all with shaved calipers, do you drive on the street a lot? i dont drive mine daily but, when i do, i drive it hard. the caliper strength concerns me.

i just used the harbor freight stuff, best way to do it is to have the rims you wanna use on hand... that way you take off JUST enough to clear the rim. thats what took me so long because i wat test fitting a lot to make sure i could leave as much caliper as i could.
