This is a video from Prof. Randy Pausch, of Carnegie Mellon University. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and was given 3-6 months to live (This was about 4 months ago). This lecture is his last, though it has NOTHING to do with cancer. It's entitled "Realizing Your Dreams". It's a little over an hour, just FYI.... But, I found it quite interesting. Hope you'll take a look. :)

I saw a (very) little bit about this guy on Regis and whatever... the other morning while getting a cup of coffee...

Incredible spirit, incredible attitude! I will finish watching this in a little bit.

Just got done listening (not watching) to the whole thing.....

I very much enjoyed it, especially the birthday cake at the end

It's amazing what one can learn by just listening

Although I haven't been able to do near the amount of things Randy has been able to do. I have been afforded the opportunity to do some things that most can only dream of

I've watched and listened to his last lecture. What an inspiration. He was my age and listening to him made me wonder what I would say to my children. What a lecture. He must have been such an inspiration to so many.

RIP Randy....His lecture sure gives a dose of "reality check" about what's really important in life. We only got one, so live it up!!:rock:
 
Randy has honestly CHANGED my life.... Like some others have done here. :eek: He was truly a GREAT MAN. :congrats:

Rest In Peace, My dear Friend. :) We'll see you when we get home. :burnout:
