have their own idiosyncrasies. Each one is a little different. Every time it rains hard my “check gauges†light come on. I look at the gauges cause I always do what I am told---sure. The AMP gauge is zeroed out. No, the ole serpentine (belt) is not slipping; in fact it has less than 10K on it. Alternator is fine. I just kill the engine, restart and all is well. Or can drive forever with no problem as I drove it almost 100 miles as I could do nothing in the rain anyway.
