Any rust belt transplants?

My wife and I are moving from the Rust Belt (we live in PA) to the "Sun Belt" (Charlotte area to be exact), and I was wondering if there's anyone here who has made a similar move. If so, are you glad you did? Regrets? No regrets? Are you happier?

I know it's a vague question but if the right person's reading this, they'll get my drift.
