Aux power port dead???

The "cigarette lighter" in the ash tray area is dead, no juice. I checked the fuses and they all look fine. Any ideas? How do I get behind that area of the dash to make sure the connections look ok?

Sometimes a fuse will look good but it is bad, so replace it, Still dont work then it might be done.

i think flyinglow had this same issue with a dead aux port, ended up replacing it...... pm him for details.

That bottom plastic piece just pops off

Popped the plastic piece off the bottom of the dash and low and behold the plug was laying on the carpet. Snapped it back into the back of the power port and problem solved.

Yeah exactly. Too easy! Take more stuff apart, break something. Then buy tons of other stuff to mod the truck that is totally unrelated just because you can

None of this just plug it back in and it works stuff...:marchmellow:
