Ok so I've been bouncing around the interwebs looking at kits and figured I would ask you guys opinion on the subject. I want to lower my '04 RC but keep it fully functional. I run a car club so I am always on the road driving it either to shows or doing mountain rides. It really surprised me at how well it handles stock but I want to bring it down to earth enough to make it look and perform better. What is the best way to drop the front? Springs, flipped lower control arm, or spindle? Also what's the lowest you would go?

Thanks for any input in advance :)

JTSVP kit.
I run a 2/3 on mine.

Take a torch to the leafs springs heat them up red hot jump up and down in the bed. Front coils just cut them down a few coils at a time.

Tonys kit is actually what I was looking at but every time I turn around someone else has a different opinion so I figured just ask here and get the definitive answer, which I believe I got lol. Thanks guys

you can take a torch or band saw heat up the springs til they drop or cut off a round, then purchase some blocks from pep boys with u bolts

but honestly I wouldn't ride in it, and betting 10-1-9 may give you some hassle:chain:

To be honest there is no real options out there anyways. Unless you want to piece together your own kit for the rear and have a set of custom front springs made to your specs (which you better know what your talking about) or the Djm control arms which I don't recommend ad I have them because stock springs are not stiff enough for that much drop not to scrub alot. So unless your willing to experiment and spend more money they JTSVP cost then we are back to what I said there really isn't a option good luck

stop being such a cheap ass!!!!! :D

Cheap? I bought all the tie straps
