Brake change

i was wondering how many miles you guys went before changing your brakes. I now have 22,000 miles on my QC and i have noticed an increase in the amount of sqeeking. i was also wondring what kind of brakes i should put on. thanks for and help.

My stock pads made it a little more than 10,000 miles.
The (sub-par) second set will be under 10,000 miles.
The new set I expect to have for 20,000+ miles.
