BREATHER ????

So i searched all threads and saw it metioned but not answered.... my truck has the breather nipples om the back of the valve covers but i see a bunch that have them one the front.. at first i thought it was a model year diffrence as i have a 04 but i see 04s with the nipples on the front...what gives

04s had the nipples on the back 05s and 06s have the nipples on the front,but you can swap out the covers on any year.

Thanks .. So was there a vin cut off or was it a 04 05-06 thing cause i was looking at a stock 04 with nipples in the front. It didnt look like the covers were ever off
