Crank shaft

Change oil on o4 srt 10 to day and thought i would check the bolt on the crankshaft and it was loose 15000 miles keep check on this very scary.

next oil change loosen take it out if you can. If not back it far enough out to get some RED loctite in that bitch and torque it down. Do you have the 7/8 inch bolt or the 1 1/6 (head of the bolt)?

Prolly a good idea to at least pin it in place, maybe its too late though?

it says to use blue loctite but i used red!!!!!!!!

blue is for parts that you will take off and on, red is permanent unless heated before removel

why and how would you just check that during an iol change? Did you drop the oil pan?

The one on the front that holds the harmonic balancer on the front of the crank. Not inside. Dig?
