I am absolutely in!!! If we ever have some nice weather maybe we could all go to Keller's or something?

What about Buffalo Wild Wings, Hooters, whatever for say NFC or AFC Championship game on Sunday. Just meet-n-greet and have a beer or something. Anyone?

truck shoot out

I'm in. Do you guys want to participate in a "truck shoot out"? Eight mile at Cedar Creek on March 4th for charity - 10 bucks plus gate fee. If so, I'll post details.
Larry

It's southeast of Dallas near Cedar Creek Lake.

I'll post all details in a new thread tonight. In short, it's a fund raiser as part ofa large local car club - seems to have lots of interest. There will be plenty of Lightnings and other fast trucks there. There's are two classes for V10s - stock and modified.
later,
Larry

OK - here's the next north Texas GTG as far as I know:
NORTH TEXAS TRUCK SHOOTOUT

A SPECIAL FUND RAISING EVENT TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN OF “SPECIAL NEEDS IN DALLAS.â€

As they say on Pinks, “heads up - run what you brung,†but bring plenty – there will be some super fast trucks running, mostly from Ricekiller Club and others. SBC S10s, hot rod Fords, Lighnings, you name it.

March 4th, meeting at 11:00 at Martin’z Mexican Restaurant in Garland on the west side of Lake Ray Hubbard on I-30 at Bass Pro Drive:
529 E Interstate 30 # 110
Garland, TX 75043
(972) 240-2504
Map: http://hort.net/+1i5U

Start with lunch at Martin'z @ 11:30 they are opening up just for us and are doing a buffet with enchiladas, a drink and sides. Lunch is not included in entry fees. You will need to allow yourself time to register for the shootout and eat..you show up at the last minute, you may not be able to enter, unless you pre-registered.

Leave Martin’z at 1:00 sharp for the eighth mile track - Cedar Creek Raceway, which is about a 45 minute drive.
Directions: Appx. 8 miles south of Kemp to Seven Points, then 3.1 miles west of SR 274 on FM 85, then .1 mile north on CR 2139
Map: http://www.racefan.com/showtrack.asp?id=328

Read about class details here: http://forums.ricekiller.com/viewtopic.php?t=10267
Tires - all classes – must be DOT approved. No tire changing at the track.

Recap on costs...
You will need to pay your track entry fee, which is $10.
Race entry fees:
Outlaw classes---$15
Street classes---$10
Addition classes if needed ---$5

If you just want to be in a grudge race...come on along for the fun....no rules for that.. just post up your grudge in the grudge match thread: http://forums.ricekiller.com/viewtopic.php?t=10269
and there’s no event entry fee (just the track entry fee).. but we would appreciate a donation from all participants.

Don’t forget to bring a little $$$ for the 50/50 pot to try to get a few dollars more. We will be working on prizes from sponsors and the such, but no promises.

We will be able to make as many passes as we want, no tech to deal with, the big clock will be turned off, but you can still get a time slip - there will be a win light only. We will pretty much run the place and won’t be run through real quick as we would be at other tracks in the area.

That sounds great dude, like I said I'm already in...I'm just tryin to see if there are any local SRT10 owners who would like to go have a coldie sometime. Anyone? If not I'll just have to drink enough for all of ya...hehehe

HELL YEA IM IN,JUST NAME THE PLACE AND ILL BE THERE
IM IN TYLER SO IT WILL TAKE A LITTLE DRIVE BUT IF IS ON THE WEEKEND I DONT MIND DRIVING TO DALLAS AREA

I'm thinkin Sunday to watch one of the Championship games. We can pick a spot in the middle so it's convenient for everyone. My first thoughts are Buffalo Wild Wings on 635. But anything goes.

I'm all in for Sunday and March 4th. I think somewhere on I 635 is fine, just let me know when and where. The weather's gonna be shitty, but that just means we won't have to worry about cleaning the trucks up before we go...LOL!!!

Game Day Options

Hey guys,

Definitely want in on this one. If we're going to do 635 then let's shoot a couple miles up the Tollway to Addison and hit Cape Buffalo: http://www.capebuffalogrille.net/Facility.htm

or Champps or Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings all a mile apart and all stocked with hotties.

Michael

I'm thinking champs in irving is probably our best bet cause its bigger. I'll check tomorrow to see what time the game starts and i'll post up to let you know...

Cool. I've been meaning to meet Steve over there for a drink for a while.

Alright, the NFC game starts at 2 pm and the AFC game is at 5:30. So I'll go to Champs tomorrow around noon and grab us a table. So far I think there's about 5 of us but if more want to come that's great I just need to know so I can get us enough seats. My number is 817-825-6994.
