Diff. Fluid...

The description sounds A LOT like a PTFE-based lubricant (Teflon).

Also remember that your Honda was probably doing 75% less HP and 75% less torque than the truck. Force is force no matter how you slice it.
A good lubricant in one situation might not work in another- PTFE or not.

I'm certainly not a lube pro by any stretch, but I would not use that in my truck. I'd go with Mobil 1 or whatever the manuf. recommends.
But that's just me. :)

Oh yeah I understand that aspect, and of course I'm not comparing the truck diff. to the car diff. by any means... two totally different worlds I realize that, just curious about the product and it's abilities.

So, Mobil1 75w-90 gear oil is a good, proven replacement huh?

It should work bruddha, If the manual dont suggest Kevan dont use it:D

I use redline in the tranny and axles, and love it:rock:

Heh heh....except that the manual recommends Mopar fluid. :)

- Mopar says: "Young man, you should use Mopar Gear & Axle Lubricant SAE90."
- Kevan says: "Dude....Mobil 1!"
- Stinker says: "Redline, and show me them boobies!"

It's sorta like picking out the hottest chick at the Playboy Mansion.
They're all winners. :D

The truck is already parked, cooled down, and up on stands/the lift.
Perfect opportunity. :)

No other opinions on this stuff?? :dontknow:
I mean I have no problems taking a risk on this stuff if a few more "lube-savvy" folks will at least chime in and say the properties of this lube on paper will not appear to damage the trucks' differential per se...

I'm just not very keen on this kinda stuff and still learning/reading about all the possibilities for the truck and if Mobil1 or Redline is truly the best proven way to go, I'll follow suit... :)

Thanks!!
