As I consider this and what the general feeling is.
Tim of course makes his point.
Diversity is a good thing. Imagine how boring it would be if we all thought alike, had the same color of truck, the same mods, same track times.......ect.
I've had my fair share of run ins and I'm sure I will have more,
The difference for me is, I generally will only go toe to toe with those I have met. I'll disagree with Mikey, Shawn, Denise, Tim, Mike John...etc., and feel comfortable about it because I have met them. There are others like Jake that I would feel comfortable to go the rounds with, simply because I feel I know him maybe a bit better than others. Even at that, I have found that going toe to toe with these folks still can get out of hand and bend some feelings.
In most cases PM's have been exchanged and all is good.
I would like to know that I can go toe to toe with one of these folks and in the end, we buy each other a beer and have a good laugh. That's what has made this place so much fun. As friends, like all friends. We can get pissed at each other and know that the next GTG we can be standing next to each other laughing.

If I didn't want anyone to know it was me.... I wouldn't have posted it. Funny thing.... That pic was taken at the "Daytona GTG" earlier this year. It was the one where McRodney and his friend Amos came down and invited us to go to a NASCAR race.
:rock: It was one of the greatest nights that I've had in the last 5 years. :rock: Scott, Alexis, Rodney, Amos, and I had a AWESOME time. (Alexis took that pic with MY CAMERA, just so I would find it later. ..... I thought it was so funny, I posted it. :star: )I'm PROUD of that picture.

That's my analysis/guideline in three words if you read this from the top.
Humor and off topic subjects (even offensive) are mandatory to prevent the forum being dead boring. But there should IMO be a good mix between both of them. If over time this becomes for e.g. 95% a joke database or second youporn, nobody will be interested anymore because we're not special anymore, you can find these on every e-corner.
I'm always in a hurry to check out this place everytime I see a computor with internet while traveling or at work/home. Although I never met you guys the welcome was warm, the support great, the jokes hilarious.
That's what I like about this place.
Deciding to go PM or create an open discussion is a matter of common sense.
Keeping an eye on the overall "condition", see top, of this forum can/is being done by the admins so I'm confident we won't forget what brings us together: the interest for 10 cilinders. In a good mix of work/play you always will have agruments but I don't mind those, especially if women and oil are involved

Things are great, summer is kicking in finally after a lot of rain in July, I'm on holiday for three weeks and I got her !! Oh yes, the wife is pregnant again but that's a detail right (but an expensive one I'm afraid )
I was finishing my bed (keep an eye on the DIY/visual mod section) gonna get me a towing bar/ball/hook (how do guys call it?:dontknow: ) and prep the wiring for that socket and for the taillock I just got via TYF(steve).
Oh yes, need to finish the driveway too
I loooooove the truck, downside of it is: everybody knows where I've been from now on. (In our small town (20000 people) it's an eye-catcher) :rock:
And I need to solve the fkn bumpsteer problem....
