Engine oil

Ok for the first time since Ive owned my truck I didnt take it to the dealer ship to get an oil change. how many quarts does the 10 hold? I called both local dealer ships and got two differant numbers 8.75 and 10.5, My owners manual is MIA.

8.5 if it is a 2004....10 if it is a 2006

I have a 04 and 9 quarts filled it up perfect............

I believe the 10.5 was a earlt misprint, which concequently might have blown out a few rear main seals if memory serves me right.
