Brand new in box B&M SRT-10 shifter. Bought about 8 years ago, never installed it. $500 shipped OBO.
$260 shipped.
A ridiculous offer for a ridiculous asking price. :chain:

NICE! Good to see an "unobtainium" B&M hit the classified's. I still have mine. It was in the truck for a few thousand miles before I got the JTSVP Gen II. It's still like new and in the original box.
Overall I feel this shifter is the best choice between the mushy stocker and the rigid Gen II. Biggest reduction in throw (close to 2") over OEM and no issues getting into reverse. The Gen II drops the throw "almost" another 3/4" at the cost of getting into reverse easily. The adjust ability is nice and dramatically reduces the dreaded 2-3 miss shift with spring tension. However, if you utilize proper shifting "arm position" techniques, you will not miss the 2-3 shift with the B&M either Gen II also transmits more gear noise through the handle. Speaking of handle?!? You MUST use the rusty JTSVP handle. My Cherry Performance handle did not fit. It will on the B&M
GLWS I'll be watching how this goes
Cheers!!
How could I not, I love long winded post. But the only thing I got out of it is that you don’t like them soft or mushy or too hard and rigid... they gotta be juuuust right.
Sound like you like wasting money for the sake of saying you’ve tried something. I have a B&M on my truck that I swapped from the stocker and I’ve driven the Gen II. Save your money fellas. Anyone want to trade their Gen II for a B&M, let me know.
You are quite the class act are you not? I would beg to differ on the "long winded" comment. Simply "comprehensive" and not intended for simple minded individuals.
If I may say, the B&M was not a "waste" of money. Obtained the B&M due to the fact that the Gen II was not available when I first obtained the truck. Some drivers just may not enjoy the "fickleness" of the Gen II.
So, if you are that driver, the B&M drops right in, gives you all the benefits of the stock shifter with a little of a bit of gear noise (which can be easily dampened with Mastic Tape) and the biggest drop in throw for the money with no issues getting into reverse. Plus, you can add a handle of choice like the Cherry Performance I have and be very happy.
