I need help validating the decision I have already made to switch gears in my truck. I am considering starting several threads on the topic, because that seems to be the in-vogue thing to do. Basically, my mind is made up, I don't want valid advice, and I certainly don't want to use the search function, or actually read any of the old conversations that have already been taken place on this subject, even though they have useful information like RPM vs Speed In Gear charts, timeslips with different gear setups, etc. So, if you think I am cool for switching gears, don't have any real racing experience, and will give me a pat on the back for being a chump, please chime in!
