Thinking this is a fair price for the truck and not too terribly far from me. Missed mine since the day I had to let it go, but now things are some better and I still have the fire... Opinions please

Tell ya what -- I call North VA home, at least for now As part of our annual dues to society we pay a personal property tax on our vehicles. The tax you owe is based on the "blue book value" assessed at a certain rate. This year my truck, a brand new one I bought in Jan 2008 (and I won't tell ya the price...), is now worth, according to our tax keepers a whopping $20.4K. And I have just turned over 7000 miles. I would say you have some negotiation wiggle room with the offer this dealer has posted.

I would agree with the offer of $20k-$21k. They will prob come down about $1000-$1500 they will hit bottom around 21,500-22K. Then it is up to you.

If you are happy after you sign the papers then it is a good deal, no matter what anyone has to say.
