got rear ended ?

I did yesterday from some chump in a beat up v-6 rustang . I am so glad i leave my boat trailer hitch in 100% of the time . He hit me going around 10 mph . Huge hole in his bumper , nothing done to my truck . I swear by using this as a life saver , i have been rear ended 4 times since moving to cali , and even though it might not look the best i rock it all the time ...

i do the same thing. my buddy went so far as to weld up a 1 foot long spike that installs in the trailer hitch. not sure how legal that is but don't rearend that guy!

me too!!!!! Glad the truck wasnt hurt.......f#ck the dickweed whom doesnt seem to pay attention when he's driving!!!

Even though I dont tow with mine... I put the receiver and ball in just for that very reason...

When I had my Montero some dufus ran into me also... I left my receiver and ball in.. his S-10 had a big ole hole in the front of it, as well a V-ed bumper.

No Damage to truck either... but his insurance still wanted to:

1. Check out the tranny/drive train for any issues.
2. Check Frame for stress.
3. Replace complete hitch.

They went above and beyond.. but I think it was mostly cover their their butts...
