Help ! where is the Valet button????

I got a new keyfob for my truck and am tring to program it. The instructions say I need to hold down the Valet button. Where the hell is that???

So far i've set off the alarm about 20 times and its really starting to get to me. :argh:

Any help would be GREAT !!!

Sounds like an aftermarket system. I'm not aware of a valet button on our stock trucks. On aftermarket systems the valet button is usually hidden under the dash somewhere. Good luck.

I've never heard of any ram with a valet button:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Yep, aftermarket system, I'm sure...... Look around where the steering column meets the dash..... feel around behind the underneath of the dashboard, above the driver's side footwell.... They usually install the button around there.

It should be a little, nondescript button... something like this:

I had a valet button inside the fusebox once (a different vehicle). Might be worth checking.
