so installed my X-Metal shifter bought from Tone, it was pretty straightforward install and now I am wondering if I installed the lever correctly.
The new shifter feels pretty similar to the stock Hurst shifter, but haven't had a chance to get out an drive it hard yet, so we'll see.
I used the stock Hurst handle, mounted just as the stock shifter lever (with all the rubber isolator stuff and all, and it placed the shifter ball in the center of the console (feels farther to the center than before).
If I want to get the shifter ball more towards the drivers side.....
Should I
Any advice is appreciated!

Should I
- get rid of the rubber isolators and bolt the hurst lever direct to the shifter?
- Should I just use the X-Metal lever?
- Should I bend the Hurst lever?
Any advice is appreciated!
