Is the Viper a "Supercar"?

It is our supercar among others, in the usa. the exotics are just that, "exotic" if ya throw TT and redo the tranny....suspension.........etc,etc then it becomes a exotic supercar, the supercar come stock, and is 99% imports, and worth the price of a house.

I'm not sure what the word "Super Car" means !

Muscle car - Yes
Import - Yes
Exotic - Yes

Supercar - ?? sounds generic..kinda like Tunercar. Any car can be a tuner or supercar. I would say the viper is a Domestic Muscle car. It has proven itself hands down at the ring to beat every car produced practically.

My definition of a "Supercar"I would say that if a specific vehicle (in its class) beats all other vehicles in the same class, it is a supercar; basically top dog.

-The SRT-10 Truck, would be a supercar(truck) in the truck category.
-The SRT Cherokee / Cayanne Turbo S would be supercars (SUV's) in the SUV category
-The Viper ACR would be a supercar of all other sportscars.
-The Skyline would be the supercar of imports

.....so on.

Just IMO.

It is hard to call it a sports car when you call a Mustang GT, even a V6 a sports car.

both the chevy ZR1 and the Viper (esp. ACR ) are super cars . They look like nothing on the road (esp. viper ) and have super car performance and are expensive (over 100K for ACR ).
In my book they are Super cars .:burnout:

Any car that can do 200mph or more, and has 600HP or more from the factory, is a super car in my eyes. :rock:
