long time storage

I have had my 2005 quad cab in storage for about 12 months, filled with gas then and added stabil, but worried about the gas at this point. The truck has been started and ran for a few min. every month, but I told them to stop. I feel that I should drain gas and start with new, but only way I found on-line was to suck it out?? any other suggestions??

Pop the fuel line off and jump the fuel pump relay, it'll pump it right out for you

Fuel should be good to run as is. Draining the tank is for chumps that don't think ahead like you did.

If you run the motor bring the oil up to temp (180*+) this will burn off the condensation inside the motor.

The truck is not a 2 stroke. burn the stuff out on a nice leisurely cruise.

The gas should be fine and if your worried, just add 2-3 gal. of LL104 fuel from a speed shop.
