the bolt pattern for the tranny is different.

dont matter on auto or standard this motor wont be goin in my truck this will be bolted to a custom tranny in time so were make it work i might have a bite on a block so my project srt could be coming sooner than i thought

the bolt ptterns are different , but ery very easy to fix, you can use both in either truck

I thought it was just a small spacer between the auto block the made up space for the torque converter thickness, compared to the clutch on a manual trans.:dontknow: Is this right Tony?

nope the blocks are different, the 04's have the trigger sensor taken from the flywheel, the 05/06 comes of fthe crank

the quad cabs bellhousing mounts are different ,but by drilling one hole you can mount a manual to it, using a shoulder bolt
