looking to trade gears

I still have the factory 410 gears from my 04 with only 11000 on them and just cracked my pinion on my 488 gears I used to replace the 410's. I am looking to do a trade even up for a set of 488 or 456 gears. The gears are already out and ready to ship.

How did you break those gears and where did you buy them from?

Not sure they just started to whine for no reason after 1300 miles so I took the rear apart again and found cracks in the pinion. I baught the gears new from a guy on this website.

Sounds like a bad install!! There should be no noise if set correctly!

thats just it there was no noise until 1300 miles later. I talked to some people at richmond and dana and they said if the gears are not hardened properly they will do that. and spider crack
