Lost A Good Man At The Dragstrip Last Nite

Johnny Walker has been working the Line and the Burnout Box for a lot of years at Brainerd Optimist Club Dragstrip.
Something went terribly wrong last nite and he was ran over by a bracket dragster. From what I understand it broke both his legs and he died from head trauma a few hours later. This is a guy that was a friend to every person to ever go down our track, he will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace Johnny.

Just found out that he was standing at the rear edge of her dragster, she thought it was in forward gear but it was in reverse, she nailed it and the big slick just pulled him right under the car. He was dead on impact.

Maybe it would be a good idea to put a backup light on the dragsters or any race car that doesn't have back up light indicator. Maybe that would have saved his life?:dontknow:
