Hello Guys My name is Daniel and I did the calendar for RAMFORUM.com, some of you that wandered over there may have seen me before. Shaggy asked me if I would be interested in doing the calendar on this site. I told him OF COURSE! Who doesn't like seeing SRT-10s everywhere! From the post I have seen so far you guys have some of the nicest truck I have ever seen!
Okay so on to the calendars and how we can do this. For the RAMFORUM calendars I used a website called
www.zazzle.com, I made the top image for each month. I try not to do stuff that is real fancy with the editing of the photos, from what I have seen you guys have some awesome pics all-ready so this should be cake.
Okay so on to the picture requirements: Two things,
#1 Bigger is better!! (the printers recommend pixel dimensions of 2200x1800, so anything around there will be perfect, the smallest pic I used on the other calendar was 1024x768 and it was a little blurry) (one thing I do ask is that if you post a pic, please make sure you have the full size image for me to use, I will pm the people I choose to ask for them later) #2
Brighter pics are better! (somewhere in the printing process the images darken).
Now as Shaggy has said, I will pic the pics I think will work the best and try to be as fair as possible. I dont really know much about you guys as you do not know much about me (yet).
The website I use allows me to create a storefront where you guys can go and order the calendars from there pay them directly. I think this will work better as you guys do not know me and I know I wouldnt be thrilled about paypal-ing somebody I dont know my money and address. (If someone decides to order in bulk, I have coupons left over from previous orders that they can use, just pm me to let me know). You will most definitely get to see the entire calendar before you order. The calendar website makes me charge a royalty fee for selling the calendars, and this will be donated to the site. I work with full disclosure, I do not do this to make money. I do this to get better and better with photoshop and graphic design. I did this for the first time on RAMFORUM and it turned out really well, and It raised a good little chunk of change for the website.
