guys thinking about coulour co my door handles and mirrrors
what is the best paint to use ?
also thinking about cal-vu mirrors any in put would be good
also pics ...... red trucks

I went with billet door handles and shaved the tailgate. I was going to paint my stock mirrors but after looking at the Cal-vu's I went with them instead. I used standard 2 part (base/clear) automotive paint (Dupont Chroma).

I anticipated the Cal-vu's would reduce my viewing area to the rear and they do however I haven't found it to be a disadvantage. Downside to the billet door handles? Being painted black and located in screaming hot Phoenix sunshine they do tend to get a bit warm....IR temp meter had them at just over 175F during afternoon summer exposure!!!! Just love the shaved rear tailgate. One of the best mods (visual) that I've done. Went with the Sir Charles inside handle conversion temporarily. I plan on setting up an electric opener but just haven't had time.
