New Rotors & Pads On The Way!

I just finished ordering new slotted rotors (4) and pads for the truck.

I should have them by the weekend. I'll do the stainless steel braided lines and rotors/pads at the same time.
Expect a couple of DIY articles for both of these.

WooHoo! New brakes!
The truck will be so happy. :)


MINOR PLUG:
Dealing with Zeckhausen Racing has been nothing short of fantastic. There's not a question about brakes that they can't answer.
Their new online ordering makes things so easy. I was done in less than 2 minutes.

David has been great working with me on my order. ( Rotors & pads )
 
Wow.
Just got the email confirmation that my entire order shipped same-day!
Nice system they've got there.

I asked David about availability and he said that our gigantic rotors are something that he normally keeps well-stocked. I didn't want to post about a great deal on nice rotors and then have hundreds of PM's about how folks couldn't get them. :)

He's a big fan of the trucks, and a member here!
(and a 300C SRT-8 owner/driver)

Yup he was the first to bring us SRT8 owners a change in pads from the nasty squealing brake dust on the stockers
 
Rotors and pads arrived today, right on schedule.
UPS guy was *not* smiling as he brought me the 3 boxes. :)

Everything was well packed and in perfect shape. Only damage was some slight crushing to one of the boxes for the pads.

I'm waiting on the SS braided lines from Stinker.

I'm going to do everything at once, and probably (3) DIY articles-
- SS Line Lock Lines
- SS Brake Lines
- Rotors & Pads

It sure is tempting to just whip those suckers on. :)

I can't wait to see these DIY's. You truly have skills when it comes to this stuff!
 
Hey Kevan....

I ordered from Dave last week.... Front and rear pads for me and Joemags... They are top notch guys to deal with. Very knowlegable and helpful... A true asset to our community.

Look forward to putting them on as well. No more squealing or dust....

BTW, Joemags says the reason he doesnt drive his truck is because of the dust. I may have broken him out of his shell. ;)
 
Just got my Posi-Quiets from Dave yesterday too! :rock: Too bad we're not closer.... we could put them on together and see if there are any differences between the RC and QC. :(
