Get well soon.
From Lisa
Hey guys. We appreciate having each of you in our lives and wanted to let you know that Chris is ok but, earlier last week, he had a heart attack. It was obviously alarming, especially at the age of 33. This happened almost exactly a year after his pulmonary embolism, last December. He had a stent put into a main heart artery, the "widow-maker", which was very blocked. He also suffered a dissected coronary artery. After many tests, they found that he has genetic blood issues. We are relieved to have some answers now. He is home from the hospital and we are tired and grateful. We've really just been wanting to lie low together as a family, in our home, as we ease him into recovery and normal life. This handsome man of mine has had a rough time. He is doing really well now... and just like Chris always does, he looks and acts as if nothing has happened. Love you all!
Thank you, everyone. Truth be told, things are pretty bumpy for me and my family at the moment. I need to take a break from the VTCoA and lots of other things in life. I'll be on FB a little bit because Lisa is on there and that makes it easier to keep up. I very, very, very much appreciate all the well wishes and thank you so much to all of you who have taken time to comment and to those who have reached out.
Thanks again for this everyone. Still means a lot.
